Annette is a 1st generation hat shaper - no family trade, no apprenticeship passed down. Just a steady hand, real patience, and an eye for what actually suits someone's face. Hat Shepherd grew out of that instinct: a love of craft, and a knack for making people feel like the best version of themselves.
Working out of her home studio in Missouri, Annette fits, steams, and hand-shapes everything from everyday straw hats to statement felts - taking the time with each one until it's unmistakably theirs.
